Once upon a time there was an evil queen who cast a powerful spell over all of fairy tale land that took away everyones happy endings,by sending them to our world.
Henry (Jared Gilmore) is given a book of fairy tales by his teacher Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) and soon learns the true identities of everyone in the town. Worst of all his adoptive mother is the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla). Seeing what he’s up against Henry goes for help and finds Emma (Jennifer Morrison) his biological mum, a tough independent bounty hunter.
The story weaves in and out of our world where the fairy tale characters have no memory of their real life or identity and back into their past in the Enchanted Forrest.
It has all the faves Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), Cinderella, Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood and even Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlysle).
Sure there are moments of pure cheesiness… but it is a fairy tale and if you can’t have perfection in a fairy tale there’s no hope.
The production quality of this is amazing, its the only fantasy tv show I would recommend. The dialogue and acting are brilliant. This show is super fun and great for a girls night in.
